Khruangbin - May Ninth Music Video
Co-directed and co-produced for Khruangbin’s single "May Ninth," this award-winning animated music video explores a tactile, dreamlike narrative of interconnectivity and "life before life."
To bring this world to life, we orchestrated a highly collaborative, multi-disciplinary pipeline—blending 3D animation, hand-drawn 2D character design, and meticulous analog cel-shading. Leading a global team of animators, modelers, and designers, we established a seamless mixed-media workflow to protect a warm, painterly, human aesthetic while managing a complex production schedule from initial storyboarding to final delivery.
