Inaugural Film for Runway's Hundred Film Fund

Directed for Runway Studios, Migration is an experimental short film that follows a space explorer uncovering the deep secrets of a foreign planet.

The project serves as a pioneering case study in hybrid animation, seamlessly merging traditional hand-drawn cel animation with generative AI tools. By designing and implementing a custom mixed-media pipeline, I led a cross-functional team of 2D animators and creative technologists to push the boundaries of modern storytelling—proving that cutting-edge, emergent workflows can beautifully co-exist with a tactile, human art direction.
